We’re delighted to share the full programme for our international conference “Engaging with Conspiracy Theories, Fostering Democracy: Dynamics, Drivers and Defences”, to take place on 9th & 10th April 2026 at Charles University, Prague.
The programme brings together scholars from across Europe and beyond for two days of keynotes, panels, and discussion on:
- The dynamics and consequences of conspiracy theories
- Democratic resilience, trust, and political self‑efficacy
- Media, policing, AI, and interventions
- Comparative and national case studies
- And much more…
The programme consists of four keynote lectures, twelve thematic panels arranged in parallel sessions spanning political theory, sociology, psychology, media studies, criminology, and cultural analysis and a roundtable discussion of the foundations of a future international learned society in conspiracy theory research.
